Scotty managed to melt his chain tensioner causing it to disintegrate & parts poke a hole in the bottom of the engine casing. All hands on deck, some lateral thinking & a bit of savvy & repairs were soon underway.
Step 1: push the scoot over, point a lot, do a bit of chin scratching.
Step 2: plug the hole with liquid metal gunk & a bolt. File off the excess. Fabricate a new chain tensioner out of two exhaust bobbins.
- Step 3: rebuild the engine but not before losing a spring down a drain & fishing it out with a magnet on an aerial tied to a piece of string.
